A reference on how investment policy limits are written, measured and monitored, published by Acclimetry, the investment policy monitoring software operated by Foreranger Ltd.
How it is built
Each restriction page follows one of the 32 rule templates in Acclimetry. Its parameters, methodology choices and result codes are read from the product’s rule registry, and its worked examples are the product’s own test cases, evaluated by the rule engine.
The same engine runs in the free Limit Checker. On every build the browser copy of the engine is checked against the product on all 108 worked cases; a build in which any answer differs is not published, and neither is one with a broken internal link.
Pages that state the law, the breach handbook and every Spanish page are published for indexing only after a named reviewer has signed them off. The reviewer and the date appear on the page.
Editor
Muaz Notiar, founder of Acclimetry, has worked in the financial industry for over 15 years, on both the buy side and the sell side, and has built vendor and in-house investment platforms. LinkedIn.
